Comic Book Resources is not a fan of Victor Santos's otherwise incredible art, yet they liked Mice Templar III, #6 well enough to rank it an "Honorable Mention" in their weekly BUY PILE column:
http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=36145

"'Mice Templar 3' #6 was an intense, murderous affair as two rodent forces came to meet violently in snow as one of the titular characters protected a friend. The artwork didn't do this comic any favors, but this well-developed character work and ruthless action would likely work well in a collected format."

The guy that writes the Buy Pile....well I won't say it, but I rarely ever agree with him. On anything.

We need you to spread the word, Budda!
And you'll discover the fate of Cassius in issue #8, the finale of "A Midwinter Night's Dream."

Volume IV is coming... "Legend"

I have been spreading the word on the Kirkboard for sure. You mean we have to wait an entire issue before we know what happens to Cassius... Noooooooooo!!

Thought this was another fantastic issue! This just solidifies Cassius as quite possibly one of the best Templar with a sword and strategy!!
The issue was a mile a minute, but man what a good read.

Does anyone believe Cassius is dead?

If yes, what ramifications might that portend?

If no, how might he be saved?

(I of course already know the answer, and pages that answer this question have already been drawn.)

Hmmm....

I suppose Cassius could be dead. And it would go down as one of the great sacrifices of storytelling if it were so. He has passed on a great amount of wisdom to Karic, and sword skill. But I know for me I hope that he is not dead. I think the dynamic of He and Karic is important to the story. His journey has been almost as importan to Karic's for me. He has gone from being a unwilling protector and guide to a friend to our young hero, and maybe even sees them as equals...or at least a lesser degree of student and teacher. I think Karic still needs Cassius to help to continue to guide him from the influences of Pilot that still plague him.
