Awesome stuff, Kurtis. Issue 2 selling out a week before release despite overprints is a testament to the quality of the first issue, and the potential in your fantastic reimagining of Peter Pan.

Congrats, as well, on the announcement of this becoming an ongoing with issue 6 in September!

I hope you're ready to sign some books when you come to Halifax this spring.

Definitely, Murch! Thanks for the kind words, I'm stoked about Halifax, never been there before!

Just burned through my copy of Peter Panzerfaust #2 over lunch, another really good issue that really ramped up the chaos that was fired up in the first issue. The action was really turned to 11 in this one. With the addition of the British soldiers previously held captive and then with subsequent casualties (assuming Lost Boys and British) from the German weapons fire and explosions... my head is left spinning as I have no idea who's alive and who's dead anymore.

My only other thought right now - I really liked the little touch where Peter was whispering to himself "I'm the best there ever was..." right before he sniped a German solider in an adjacent building. It reiterated this naiive youthful confidence that was still tempered with extreme fear and uncertainty.

Ok...the LCS I was using did not pull #2 for me. So I paid for the books that they did have in my box. And cancelled my pull with them. Then I drove a little further to another comic shop in town. Not only is it much nicer, the people that work there actually like comic books. And talking about comicbooks. I was able to pick up Peter Panzerfaust #2, which was outstanding. Saga #1, a great book in it's own rights. Thief of Thieves #1 & 2, which I enjoyed more than I thought I would.

Anyway...long story short...Peter Panzerfaust #2 was outstanding!! And it lead me to finding an awesome comic shop here in town.

Hey, gents!

Thanks for picking up Issue 2 (extra credit to Ed for changing your store in the process!) and I realize that this issue things got a little darker, but just wait until issue 3.

We have something that will Hook you.

Maybe.

While I can't wait to see "Hook", I'm excited for Wendy to be introduced!

You can see the new cover for Peter Panzerfaust #4 on the comic's official Facebook page:

Also in case you didn't see it, Kurtis informed us that in next week's Peter Panzerfaust #3 we'll get a surprise, 4-page sneak peek of his sure-to-be-awesome upcoming mini with Riley Rossmo, Debris! Yesssssssss.

Thought #3 was great! I really love this book. And we get to see Hook being created!!! The introduction of Wendy was cool, but I wish there had been more pages for her in the book, not a complaint really because I wish every issue was like 100 pages long because it's so good.

Can't wait for next month.

Hey Kurtis...I think you owe me 3.88 for the gallon of gas it cost me to pick up your book!

Haven't done that in forever but it was well worth the trip. Made sure my shop is ordering it for me now...

This book, among other terrific stuff Image is putting out, has caused me to throw the tea overboard.

I'm reading less and less of the Big 2.
