I think Kirkman is just herding this train. Providing plot points and directing. Might be wrong though.

Even if Kirkman could do that there is no way that Adlard could put out the book bi weekly.

I dont think Spencer is doing bad, This first arc is interesting and is setting up the story pretty well, I think.

Had a chance to read issue 2 last night and I will say that I enjoyed it quite a bit. I find Conrad to be a likable lead character and the camaraderie amongst all the the characters past and present to be fun. I also like how they tied the jewelry heist into their personal moments. So all in all I'm liking the characters and the tone of the book. That said, there's still a lot of set up here without much overall plot. Looks like it might be one of those books that reads better in trades when you can get all this character building in one shot. I'd give it a B, maybe close to a B+

#2 spent its whole time going back and forth showing back story.
It was too much for me and should have been spread out through a few issues.
Wouldn't surprise me if they lost readers because of that..I'll stick with it due to the people involved but that issue was boring for me.

Looks like we might be getting a 2nd Kirkman TV show. Unfortunately it's not Invincible but I actually think Thief of Thieves would make a pretty cool show:

Awesome news for Kirkman... it would be killer of AMC bought the rights to Witch Doctor too. That would make a great show :twisted:
