Holy crap! Almost 2 months without a post here! For shame.

This is some of the stuff I picked up last night.

Mice Templer Vol. 3 #8 was a tremendous end to this volume. Loved it. Almost cried a little at the end.
Saga #1 - Good read, had some bits that might not sit well with some readers, but overall fantastic.
Thief of Thieves #1 & 2 - Was hesitant about this one, but picked it up last night on a whim and enjoyed it.
Powers #9 - This book is like a drug to me. I can quit it for a little while, but always get sucked back in.

And some other stuff. :D

Saga #2 - Wonderful!
Saucer Country #2 - Fantastic!
America's Got Powers #1 - ok

I recently read The Unexpected. The eight page story compilation format was actually pretty cool.

I have a bunch of my usual new issues to read, but I don't quite feel like reading it so I started re-reading Proof. I've re-read the first two trades. God, I miss this book something fierce.

Finished up re-reading Proof. I'd one day like to know what Elvis was talking about in his final breaths and also what the deal was with Wayne possibly not being human.

One day, we need more Proof, please.

That one's easy. Check out the last four pages of that story to see who "him" was.

Doh! Of course. I didn't even put 2 and 2 together.

What about the other thing?

Picked up a big stack of books last night..it's been 3 weeks since I went to the LCS.

Rebel Blood #1 - gotta admit I was a little lost reading this one
Saga #2 - Love me some Fiona Staples art...and the story is good too
Near Death #7 - Jay's always a favorite
The Sixth Gun #21 - totally silent issue...but it was awesome.
The Walking Dead #96 - solid story as always
Supergirl #8 - still dig this one for some reason
Peter Panzerfaust #3 - great story, and I love the art, and how it's being told
Superboy #8 - getting a little weird with how it's tied to Teen Titans
Chew #25 - good end to the arc
Skullkickers #13 - Love having Baldy and Shorty back!
Ultimate Comics Spider-Man #9 - this is still hanging on, even though I'm not very excited about it anymore.

Had a good evening sitting and reading some good comics. Also pre-ordered Wild Children. :D

That got answered at the end of Book 5 (Blue Fairies). I don't remember which issue that was. (28?) It all happened between panels, so you didn't see it, but I think it's clear that a long-time character was not what we thought he was and he changed identities there.

Hope that was ambiguously worded enough to avoid spoilers.
