A few more hours for me, but man seeing Brutalizer getting brutalized in the preview was brutal!

One awesome creation, wished we got to know him better.

Though my shop got shorted on this, I got my mitts on a digital copy. Really glad to be living in the digital age, and not have to wait weeks for a copy to turn up.

Two things.

Buttress! NO!

I'm not entirely sure I like that Angel can't seem to handle the stress. It just doesn't feel right based on everything she's gone through for her to be feel so vulnerable.

Some really fun stuff here! There's a ton going on and this invasion threat feels real with all of the death and destruction (Gavin will be pleased!). I love how the end of the Vanguard back up ties in with the beginning of the main story.

You're right, the death pleased me a great deal! I'm sure that Erik's going to get fed up with my constant questions about the bodycount. Heh.

I've written most of the issue summary already but need to do the Van stuff. I'll get it done ASAP and send it along.

I have to be honest, I love the art in this book. But the ending did nothing for me. It seems so out of place, how the hell does Angel all of a sudden want Malcolm to be her last love? What about Frank Jr? I mean what was the point of building a relationship between them two if she's just going to screw Malcolm? (smh) I also thought the cameos were a little forced. I hate to complain, because SD is my favorite book. But some of the scenarios that have happen lately, seem like their done more for shock value. Rather then good story progression. I also would love to get more villian character development. Getting pretty tried of new villains introduced and killed in the same issue.

None of the villains killed here were introduced here... But they haven't been around in a way.

As for Angel, I think it's easy to forget that Angel is still very young. She's faced with possible global annihilation, who knows what anyone will do with that? Especially a girl who is only 17 years old.

In regards to Angel's question at the end, hasn't Malcolm lost enough body fluid as is? Oh yeah, I went there.
