Season 3 Change Predictions

it just occurred to me that maggie has the kind of swagger potential and killer fire that Andrea has in the book. and tv andrea is a kindof a pouty baby.

ok my predictions: confrontation early on with tony and daves group wich includes Merle as one of their badasses. daryl will have to choose teams. axel but no tyreese. glenn finds riot gear. michonne hooks up with tdog. who will die way down the line in season 4 when the gov chops his head off. we'll get some new prison characters, but still a smallish group. not sure where initial dissension in the group will come from. ..but most likely carol, lori, or andrea.

next major character to die: wont be for a bit (considering we just lost dale, shane and otis) but it will be carol

Maybe Hershel gets bitten and his leg has to be amputated? It was Kirkman's original plan for him (b4 being switched with Allen) and since Allen isn't in the show and Dale's dead perhaps it will happen to him instead? Perhaps we'll have the Fear the Hunters arc as the opener for this season and someone will have an appendage eaten.

Honestly i hope Hershel (and Beth) live long enough because I'd really like to see Hershel's death scene from the comics play out.

Well, the only problem with your dream Hershel death scene, is the fact that the character that his whole death scene is pinned around doesn't even exist in the show, and Hershel's different TV son is now quite dead. Not sure if you can get the same bang for your buck on a similar death scene without similar circumstances.

I think when you mention the Dexter/Andrew dynamic, clearly you are pining for this show to become Oz.

That's why I said "(and Beth)". She'd have to substitue for Billy.

I actually like the idea of Hershel's TV story following Dale's comic story... not the relationship with Andrea, just being the dude who does lose a leg and maybe is the TAINTED MEAT later on....

I wouldn't mind if Hershel's meat got tainted. I wonder if maybe Daryl will get left in the gymnasium. If that happens, there will be no Tyreese on tv.

Instead of Andrew and Dexter, I wouldn't mind seeing something special and tender develop between Andrea and Michonne.
