Rick and crew are Something to Fear. As bad ass as Jesus showed himself to be already, he jumped in fear to Carl's question.

This trick has been pulled before. Something that hasn't been done is if Rick attempts to become something to fear and gets positively crushed by Negan's forces. Issues after SOMETHING TO FEAR could show the remains of Team Grimes placed into a sort of subservience to Negan until Rick can figure out a way to sabotage or start a mutiny (maybe with Daryl). I'd rather go this route because it would be different than "Rick steam rolls the bad guys again." Kirkman could write it that Alexandria has all the ammo so Rick can just roll up and blow the piss out of everyone, but I'd rather not see that. Can Rick scrape together 20+ battle-ready fighters who could go against Negan's presumably cut-throat thugs? It's not just a question of ammo and ability, it's also a question of willingness to go into war. Also, Team Grimes must know the least about the multi-community landscape, that's a disadvantage that may level the playing field for Negan's ammo-less fighters.

EDIT/Second Thoughts: Of course, Rick as a violent aggressor plotting and winning a major, bloody battle would be different and uncharted territory too. All the other major battles have been Rick on defense. This could be another step forward in what some people feel is the Governor-ization of Rick.

I think the Euge may go whichever way the wind is blowing and join Team Negan. After all, he is a survivor. i wonder if davidson is affiliated with or is actually Negan.

I can't see it for whatever reason, even on other sites. What exactly happens?

People freak out about Rick killing Ethan, and Rick is all "what was I supposed to do?" Some people run at Rick with spears, he points a gun at them, and Jesus calms everyone down. Some people take Gregory away to try and help him. Jesus explains that Negan and his group, called "The Saviors," threatened Gregory a while ago. Gregory wasn't very good at negotiating, so he agreed to give The Saviors half of all their food and supplies, as long as The Saviors keep the Hilltop clear of zombies. Carl says "if we kill the saviors, will you give us half your stuff instead of them? Jesus looks very surprised, and Rick says that's actually not a bad idea. Jesus agrees.

Carl has become my favorite character in TWD. Seriously, every other character could die in issue 100, but as long as I have Carl the badass and the zombie world of tomorrow, I'm going to be one happy camper.
